Blue or Black Background

If you were to buy a fish tank and you can choose between Blue or Black background only which would you choose I know it depends on What your putting in it but let's just see what most members would choose.

I have a tank with a black background so I'd likely elect one with a blue background to contrast it with. With the black background tank it is often hard to find fish. On the other hand it looks deeper.

this is a great tread hope more members would vote. I'm getting a 240 gallon long and this was one of my dilemma. I was thinking either paint it black or get the plant background. I like the black myself.

for the black background, is everyone painting the tanks or just using the normal picture type black background and taping it to the tank?
