Blue or Green phantom?

It seems everybody likes the green, I personally like the blue...blue is generally $20 more...if you're getting green just because its cheaper, why do that when blue is only $20 dollars away. I've had both...but to each is own.

Planetcatfish notes that the blues tend to be pickier in terms of water quality and flow. So it would depend more on your tank setup, I'd say.

Im not sure if its true or not but some say the blue and green could be the same species. Color just varies from what location they are from. I like both but the bright green looks better then blue IMO.

Ive had both in the same tank and they are both great, sometimes the blue turns green or looks like it atleast, depends on water quality. If you find a very good quality blue for good price, go for it but I have some nice long fin that looks almost like "lime" or "bright" green and i think it beats the blue

I'd go with the green one too! Though I wouldn't mind a blue as well..

I personally find the green to be a more vibrant fish. The blues seem dull to me. My green is a lime bright green.

Mine is a little monster. He doesn't take any crap from any fish. He killed a loricaria whiptail. Recently put a baby blue cray in with him to see how it goes. Was worried at first. Then i watched the cray go near his cave and WHAM! That was the last time he went near the cave lol
