Blue peacock and yellow lab possible pair?

This fish is not a Electric blue, it does not have the white blaze. Look at the head shape of this fish, it has the double curve peacock shape while the Electric Blue Fryeri has a more tapper shape of a Hap. Also notice the face pits, these are a trait of the Peacock genuses. They use them to feel the vibrations of food in the water. I am still thinking Sunset Peacock.
i had a yellow lab breed with a blue peacock of somesort, all the fry were a light yellow color to peachish in color and had faint verticle stripes like a peacock, not very colorful or pretty. hopefully yours turn out better
honestly i probably will leave the fry in the tank as feeders and take whatever survives to the lfs. i just want to breed fish already. im gonna start breeding convicts in a 20 gal because they mature much faster than africans.
I would not take the fry to the shop. They sold you a possible hybrid without any notice, imagine what they will do with yours. Often first generation fry can look like their parents which makes it even more dangerous why buying fish.
true, probably just as feeders then. ive been reading on yellow lab breeding and they can supposedly breed from 1.5 inches and mine is over 3!
when i kept yellow labs they were very prolific from a small age. allowing them to breed so young stunts their growth though. and not for nothing but allowing fish to hybridize isnt responsible breeding really. culling or raising for feeders is best route.
