Blue Phantom pleco.. ANYONE who knows about them please read this....

allan01230... im about an hour north of detroit in macomb county/ richmond area so its a long hike the ones who told me 100$ for the blue phatom was oceans and seas tight on 10 mile and gratiot.. they didnt need to order it they had him in stock so idk what they are smokin in their

If you like plecos and want to buy quality stock you may want to take the long trip to livonia and go to Fantastic Fins. Many of their plecos are bread in house, they stock at least 50 species at any given time and the pleco are always well fed and lively when you get them. I believe they had an adult (5") L128 in store last time I was in for about $40-50, it had great coloring as well. They are currently breeding L333s and L262s in the store, it's worth the trip just to see their fish honestly.
 
I paid $35 for mine from The Fish Junky.
 
Biggest thing no one here has asked, is what the coloration is of the L128. Extremely light ones, with a very vibrant blue will easily fetch $100. If it is a darker one, then $100 is a little steep.

Nice to know that I'll keep my eye out for those.
