Ok guys homeboy is a backyard breeder, obviously. Anyone interested in owning an American Pit Bull Terrier needs to take there happy asses down to your local shelter and save a life. Sorry to get on my high horse but people like Machine don't know who their pups are going to and therefore are irresponsible. Adopt a dog, and then spay or neuter it, end of story. I got my ripped blue pit from the pound and found my ripped red nose on the street. There is absolutely no need to be breeding dogs in this day and age.

I hate the term Back Yard Breeder, it makes people a bit defensive, and is kind of harsh. No one needs to jump on this guys back about how he breeds. I've seen other people on here with puppies for sale, myself included, and none of us were called that. I didn't see people getting their panties in a bunch then. Everyone is a "Back Yard" breeder, where else is it going to take place? The store? Come on now..... I know what a true back yard breeder is so I don't need anyone telling me what it is... This guy wasn't asking a ridiculous price for these puppies. There are plenty of people who don't care about the pedigrees and what not. I personally could care less. I love my pets as a family pet, not by who his mom or great great grandma's uncles cousin is. That doesn't mean much to me. As long as I have a healthy dog.

I do also agree that adopting a pet is a wonderful thing. I was going to get my next dog from the shelter until the incident happened with my dog and I kept her puppy instead.

ALSO on another note... Don't want you to get defensive, but I know plenty of breeders around here and people who wait for a specific breeding of two dogs, and will pay the most for first pick, second pick and so on... There are a LOT of people who will pay for a pup before it's born, if they know she is in fact pregnant, they will pay to know that they will be getting one and are first in line.

Sorry about the rant... I just hate people calling other people a back yard breeder over some papers.... Half the dogs out there that you bought might not of had papers, and or were giving another puppies papers to make yours look good. I've seen plenty of people do that too. At least this guy was honest and stated no papers.

Thank you. And to be a breeder who is pricing dogs cheap also not only because lack of pedigree, but because he has way too many litters coming is way irresponsible. This is how we end up in the news. You dont even ask for references or anything. Also, those at best are American Staffs, anyone who thinks they have a pure blue APBT...well....I got yelled at last time this came around...lol....

"Everyone is a "Back Yard" breeder, where else is it going to take place? The store?"

lol thats about the most ignorant statement i've read about dog breeding in years. I've raised papered GSD's and old english bulldogs and grew up around highly respected dog breeders. NOT ONE OF THEM HAD A LITTER OF PUPS IN THE BACKYARD. everytime a we had pups they were born in the house and likewise for my parents friends.

to make such a bold statement is ignorance at its finest. maybe in the back, back woods of kentucky (btw, i was born in hartford, kentucky) people only have litters in the backyard, but not most breeders who take pride in what they do. people who do it for the breed, not for the bucks.

"This guy wasn't asking a ridiculous price for these puppies."

exactly, because he got with one of his homies and decided he could make some easy money breeding pits since they are the popular dog with IQ-under-100 group. he knows that anyone who is really into pits will want to know exactly where the dog came from and will be willing to pay for the proper lineage. however, he's just throwing out cheap prices to move these dogs before the next litter is due.

in any case, i'm done on this thread. i cannot seriously believe this guy has gotten any support from some of the members here. i mean, how strange would it look if i was trying to sell fish on a dog website...just think about it for a minute....

"Who ever said his dogs had the puppies in the back yard to begin with?"

when multiple people asked him in the beginning to show pictures of his dog breeding facilities and he failed to he kind of incriminated himself.
