Blue ram x convict

Lfs just got some blue rams and convicts in, could these 2 breed? Which one should I use as female and male, if they can.

God no, two TOTALLY different species. I highly doubt they could be fertile(together).

IMO, hybrids are all polluting the gene pool except flowerhorns<---- Just love them!

I hate all hybrid except flowerhorns. No idea why, just love the look of them.

I respect your opinion but hybrids "polluting" the cichlid hobby? No. Just don't buy hybrids if you don't like them simple as that.

I can see it as pollution of the hobby when they arent sold as hybrids or look exactly like pure fish
