Can anyone confirm if my German Blue Ram will indeed eat feeder fish. I have never seen him do it but i have strong suspicions, and have found rather misleading info about it.

mine eat shrimp, never fed ff but I guess as most fish if you dont feed a few days they'll attack whatever.

blue rams don't get very big so i would think that if they do eat feeder fish that the feeders would have to be small... like Taz said they would eat anything after not being feed for a couple of days...

ok I found some very small feeders and it ate it but i wouldnt since its hard to find small feeders for reasonable prices. I knew the dude @ petco that gave me some free to try it.

Yeah they will if they are hungry enough, and the feeders are small enough.

Rams will indeed eat feeder fish provided they are not too large to consume.

I've never tried ff for my rams, but it wouldn't surprise me if they took to them as my rams are fiends at deeding time. My juvinile blue ram goes head to head with my much, much bigger bolivian as soon as the food hits the water.
