LOL Nice to see everyone is educating themselves on these guys.... it's almost like I don't need to step in to inform anyone :ROFL:

Just a few more things to add however, These guys are best in groups...prefer deeper water, low light and their food to be to big to swallow whole (they will tear it apart on their own) ... this fish should be considered more feirce than any other fish in the world... they are machines that will (as already mentioned) tunnel their way inside of their prey and eat it from the inside out... they are almost parasitic in their nature.

Yeah i have some of these in stock in my shop at the moment i could have sold them a hundred times over but their temperament is not inducive to quick sales. I always advise people to think of them as piranha as they need to be treated in the same way they love to chew on your skin when you put your hands in the tank. They have an amazing sense of smell and they react the instant a block of bloodworm touches the surface of the water. They like a good current too so plenty of oxygenated water keeps em happy.
