Blue Slicone?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this question.

I just got a new tank and it has bule silicone. the old owner said it hadn't been used in a year but that it was used for fish. i have never seen bule slicone on a tank is this safe?

someone used meds in this tank. ether malicite or methalyn blue. turns clear silicone blue.

I have to agree. I have never seen blue silicone!

Yeah most likely meds, when i used some stuff to get rid of ick it turned my clear silicone of my 20 gal blue.

the tank had ick, the medication turns everything blue, i had ick in my tank and thats what happened
