I was thinking of trying to keep 8 enneacanthus glorious (Blue spot sunfish) in a 75 gallon tank would that be too much sunfish. Hoping to run a marineland 550 canister filter with this set up and plenty of java moss.

No from what I have just read a 75 gallon would be perfect if its densely vegetated and has a sand bottom.....they do not like flake foods, but instead like to eat ,copepods, cladocerans, chironomids, amphipods,shrimp and snails. Ive also read live food (Nanfa website, the book American Aquarium fishes) is a must for grown Bluespots from the wild.gulperfan220;4127446;4127446 said:
you could prob keep like 30 in there! lol...but dont do that. i will say they lose a lil bit of color in a tank...the more planted the better. but they are shy fish and will hide. if you can get banded sunfish thats your better bet. they stay dark and will eat out of your hand!
i had 8 normal sunfish in my 75 gallon i hand fed them bout everyday.. I released them and got 4 large mouth bass
