So I got some peices from work, and put some acid on it. There was no major fizzing, maybe just some tiny, tiny bubbles. I tried searching but had zero luck. Does anyone know if this is safe? I have about 10 medium sized pieces.

Mights well if you can only wait 2.5hrs for an answer about blue rock :screwy:;)

How about a little more info on the rock and some pix?! Where's it from, why did "work" have it? Need Input! :D

Bright blue could have copper in it.

Man it felt like years not 2.5hrs!
Its from a construction site, looks like the blue stone you would walk on, so semi dark blue. Ill post pics up tmw.

Patience you grasshopper. Although some of us spend a lot of time on here, we do not live on this site.:D

The path to true enlightenment is through pictures.:)

Put a piece or 3 of it in a 5g bucket with a sponge filter and a couple of goldfish, guppies, etc...if they're belly up, then it won't work.

Looks like regular concrete? are these the blue stones? I do not see why they would not work.

Nope no concrete here, they are 100% blue stone for patios, coping stones etc.
