My Bad.
Yeah Bobby doesn't have blues, for some reason I read blue but thought Argentine?

I've seen blue's pop up on Fauna Classifieds and thats really it.
2-3 years ago they would pop up often, and I remember a few people trying to get albino's and such. Too bad they're not very common because there small size and temperament is awesome.

A bit out of topic, but I wanted to sher with you guys that as soon as export permits are granted, the US and European market should be flooded with many brand new blue tegus and completly unrelated to the ones we have assuring a strong future of this species in herpeculture. These animals are being produced in a farm in Brazil which appears to be the REAL origin place of the blue tegu. They are already being sold to local people which are astonished at their sweet temper. They want to export them, unfornatly IBAMA, the brazilian nature protection agency aint making things easy and actually would rater forbit ALL non domestic animals. However they are making preassure and hopefully in a near future the export of these animals will begin.

Oh, that was you? Those were the first tegus I had ever seen, actually lol. I had one of the vendors take me around and show me what tegus to buy and what not to buy if I ever decided to get into them. They were gorgeous, that's for sure. My fiance loved them, too, it's why he's been so helpful and tolerant of the idea of getting a tegu... he liked those first two. ^_^ (He wants a red tegu more now though... grr).

No, Bobby doesn't sell them. He uses them in his breeding of the "All American" hybrid, but that's it. That's a gorgeous animal, though!

Well it was either me, my friend or my uncle. Most likely me or my friend if the person knew a lot about them. My uncle is a snake guy. I was just there to help him and sell those lizards.

Here they are about a week before I sold them. I sold them while we were packing up to leave. I actually was kinda liking the idea that I was going to bring them home, but I had to do it.

Wow really? That would be fantastic. I would love to be able to get a few more at a decent price. If the market will be as flooded as you think, the price should really drop.

I wonder therse two blue tegu's look just like the pair for sale at the last white plain's reptile show?

I wouldn't hold your breath, when it comes to issuing permits for native wildlife IBAMA is about as stubborn as they come. It would be cool though.

I wouldn't be surprised. I really don't like the guy I sold them too. I was hoping that he would try a breeding project but I figured that he would probably flip them to make a quick few bucks. I should have kept them...
