Due to need to re arrange tanks. My blue texas and my JD have been living together with no issues. My JD is kinda a wuss lol they co exist great together. I may need to move them into a 125 gallon. 6 foot long 125. Blue is about 6 inches and my JD about 8. Could they both live in a 125? Just them two no one else? They are in a bigger tank then a 125 now but may have to move them for awhile.. if not then I will unfortunately try and rehome them

I agree. Even though placing them in a bigger environment is a great thing, it could have its downside as well. A new environment means checking out what can be claimed and may lead to a nasty conflict between the two. Having a spare tank will come handy.

Less space than before may result in a territory issue. I say may but it will depend on the personality of the cichlids especially the blue texas.
Yeah I'ma have to give it a shot, Im going to scape it like the tank thier in. My JD is very very docile. Him and the Texas just follow each other around all day long. But I'll keep an eye on them. They were raised together basically I know with these cichlids that means nothing but I'll try and watch it. I have back up tanks if need be. But it would be just them two in the 125 if it works it would be nice lol
