had him for about a year now, he's about 2 years old with bark substrate. when he came out this morning he has a redish pink tinge to his skin, at the belly and slightly on top of his back and sides as well. should i be worried?

i know it isn't much, but not once has he ever had this tint.

ill have to search around on saved photos. he's normally very pale, this looks almost like a sunburn, only he has no direct sunlight where he is right now. good to know im most likely overreacting right now.

How warm are the basking spots that he comes in direct contact with? It almost looks like a mild burn (I can not say for sure). Sometimes heating elements malfunction. If it is a burn get him a new heat source. He should shed and be fine.

That's normal - Pigment comes, pigment goes......It'll probably shed in a few days.....

Not anywhere close to a burn or anything of the sort.......

hes 10-12 inches away from his heat source at the closest part

Not likely a burn then.
