so i found a blue oscar today i had to have him he pretty neat looking i just hope he is not dyed... has anyone ever heard of this? i really dont support dyed fish but his fins are normal colors but i also dont know much about how they dye a fish...

so my question is... is he died or is there really a blue oscar?

im not positive but i think i heard they were died. obviously, its not natural

they're dyed. i've heard the blue starts to fade pretty quickly and the fish health turns south. most of the time they die

They have several colored oscars that are dyed, peachy red, blueberry, and the mixed. They will get some health problems later in their life. Hopefully it wont be really bad. :(

It is true that it is dyed. No such thing as a natural blueberry oscar. Take it as a lesson and try not to beat yourself up too bad about it.

FML well now idk if i should take him back were im almost certian hes doomed or try to take care of him myself

so my friend went with me and got a yellow one is that nat. or is he also dyed...?

Um, you should probably have looked that up before buying. But yeah, most yellow aka "lemon" oscars are selectively bred for color & not dyed.
