That bluegill should eat just about anything you feed it, once he sees other fish eat he may get jealous. just keep the conditions in the tank the way you have them, it will adjust. and he may be more mild mannered if there are alot of places to hide.

I agree, none of my sunfish that are supposed to be aggressive ever hurt each other, but they have tons of hiding spots and enough room to establish territory.
One of my longear got pretty aggressive when he dug a nest, but it never went past him attacking other fish only near the nest.
