i have some as well. the differnces that i cam see from mine is the ear tab is longer and does not have the red on the edge. other than that it looks just like mine. i love mine though. they always know when feeding time is lol.

You can see the red on the edge. Seen this type all times.

Pumpkinseeds are always have high body and some pumpkinseeds do have dark coloration. Sorry buddy but this sunfish isn't hybrid.

here are a few pics of the pumpkin seeds i have. except the dark one. i know he isnt. i think that he is a bluegill but i honestly cant say that for sure.

at times, the fish in the second pic almost is black. around his head is always white like that though.
