Bluegill Tank Mates?

Are there any fish, native or not, that can be kept with bluegills? I've heard they're very aggressive, I've only kept a pair of large bluegills with a small lm bass and a rock bass so I'm just curious.

I keep a green sunfish with a jack dempsey and a couple convicts. REALLY depends on your tank size.

Tons. Other Lepomis (try to keep in groups of 5-6+ or just solo as they're more aggressive when there's only 2-4 of them), Poxomis, Ambloplites, smaller Micropterus, and Ameiurus all make good tankmates.

IME BG's aren't as aggressive as some of the others in the family haha. but ya they'll get along way better in groups as dive said. I have one growing out right now with 5 darters, a stickleback, a mosquitofish and a coosae bass and shes the biggest wuss in the tank lol.

Bluegills are less aggressive in Lepomis family.
