That was awesome. I figured the 'gill would take it.
Haha, yah the bluegill is tough fella
Hey Bro that was some funny sh%t way to go Bluey.
When i caught the fight on camera i was like holly sh*t! and then laughed lol.
I thought this is going to be bad for the bluegill as it was playing. Then I thought if the knife fish turns away the blue gill will attack more and win.

Blue Gill( I don't know what this is, but it wants to fight me), the knife charges(RAM!! CRUNCH), the blue gill says this thing bit me, I want it to leave me alone(OWW!!)

KNIFE ATTACKS AGAIN (POWW!!!) BLUE GILL SAYS THAT'S IT(POW!!!BOOOMM!!! CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CHUNCH, BOOM!!!BOOM!!!BOOM!!BOOM!!BOOM!!!) KNIFE SAYS, OH NO!!! AND FLEES!!!

THE BLUE GILL SAYS I'LL CHARGE AND BITE AGAIN AND TEACH THIS PUNK A LESSON!!! POW!!!CRUNCH!!! BOOM!!!

BLUE GILL SAYS NOW STAY IN THAT CORNER UNTIL YOU LEARN SOME MANNERS!!! WHEN YOU COME OUT OF THAT CORNER, I WILL REMIND YOU WHO I AM !!!! GGGRRRR!!! :headbang2:headbang2:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::grinn o::grinno::grinno:
Lol you just explained the whole battle! lol

Never underestimate the power of a determined sunfish, Great video. I had to move a pumpkin seed out of a 75 today that was twice the size of a male dollar sunfish in that same tank. The little dollar decided the 75 was his, and the confrontations were constant.

I moved the Pumpkinseed to a 40 breeder with an even smaller Orange spotted male, and immediately the fight was on LOL.

The little OS immediately began to flare and attack the P-Seed, so now the P-Seed evidently gets a tank of his own as well.:ROFL:

These are good observations and explain very clearly why, in my ventures into nature, i always find that in streams and creeks, you will find that any given location will hold mainly only one species. I go to one place to get longears, another for P-Seeds, etc. These fish, if not locked into a pond or lake will naturally segregate, and im sure the same holds true even in lakes, where several species co-habitate, you will typically not find several species in one small area living together peacefully.

Gang wars !!! lol

i find them all intermixed...only one execption the big bull bluegills...they tend to be with them selves...

That didn't work out the way the knife wanted it.lol

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:!!

Great vid, man! But I think you realy need some 1950s shot-by-shot, fast talking, anouncer commentary:D.

BTW; I was impressed at how the clown knife seemed to be holding his own at the beggining.
