its been there for hours now i tried turning off all the lights because i know there nocturnal i got him yesterday he doesnt ever really do anything but stay in one spot but he does move and switches spots sometimes my ammonia is 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 and ph is 7.6 i also added two gbr's along with him yesterday and today i added a blue gourami and a balloon molly the Cucumber has been there for hours should i take it out? i dont want it producing alot of ammonia.

give it time.. you just rocked his world.. give him some time to get use to his new home.. you will get more ammonia from the new fish than you will from the cucumber...

fyi it takes about 24 hours before cucumbers turn to mush

personally, i find that if you take the veggie, and place it in a microwave safe container with just a bit of water and blanch it, it softens up the veggie very fast. what i do is mic it for maybe 20 seconds. then ALWAYS cool it off in room temp water first. this will soften it making it more appealing as well as maintains the nutrients and makes it easier to digest for the fish

I agree 100%, try leave the lights off for 24 hours as well let him get climatized.

Ok i Turned the lights off I am going to need to do a water change soon though how long do you think i should wait until i do? I was planning on doing it the day after tomorrow.

Really you think my tank is overstocked? 2 GBR's 1 Bristlenose 1 Balloon Molly 6 Neon Tetras and 1 Blue gourami In a 20 gallon.....I'm not going to take anything out unless it gets to crazy to where i cant handle it but if i do what would i have to take out?
