Bn Pleco Wont eat his cucumber...Should i take it out?

How long has it been in the tank? I don't let mine stay in for more than 24 hours, as by that point they are pretty mushy.

If your other fish are eating it you could always leave it in a bit longer, and just don't feed them again today ;)

Abarilot is right, don't stress yet. Its likely just adapting to its new home and may take a lil bit to work up an appetite.
 
I generally just put the zucchini in after the lights have gone off and then get whatever is left out the following afternoon. Its not an exact science...
Btw what is a gbr?
 
Well i just took it out and it was still pretty hard it wasn't mushy like i though it would be I'm going to try that microwave technique tonight because I'm not going to be able to get the algae wafers yet and my Ram started attacking me! lol he wasn't scared at all he kept pecking at my thumb lol i was going to pet him but i didn't want to hurt him by mistake so i just took the cucumber out while being attacked. and yea its not mushy at all but the middle top of it where you would see the seeds isnt there anymore it probably floted off
 
Well since the seeds are gone it could mean the bn or someone else was eating the cuccumber. Mine generally go for the seeds/middle area before the skin.

keeps them from rotting in the fridge... i sure as heck am not going to eat veggies :ROFL:

im lucky.. my pleco will eat half a cucu/zuch in less than an hour.. any bits that he misses my clown loaches clean up.. mushrooms however always make a heck of a mess...

fyi.. mushroom plecopoop floats..

navgirls post made it sound like she froze the slices of veggies before rubber banding them to a rock and adding to the tank. Maybe im just reading it wrong.

and I know what you mean, whatever veggies the plecos dont eat, rots :D hell, the first time i ever bought a cucumber in my life was just a couple months ago for my plecos...and I thought it was zuchini.
