I hate threads like this, just makes more people want a snake just to watch it kill something.

So is this the rat that ended up biting your boa on the head?? Yeah you forgot to add that part.....

Awfully quick to jump and criticize the guy.........At least it's not eating live anymore right?

I think I'd rather have someone liking a snake because of the way it kills, rather then them killing a snake because they think its gross.......

Let's give LC a pat on the back rather then put him down cuz he posted some pictures of his snake.........

Nice pics dude........

Your right, we should applaud him OR ANYONE ELSE for showing us picks of his small boa that is going to try to kill a rat that is obviously way to big for it and just forget that this is the same rat that almost killed the snake by biting his snake on the head. Maybe we should also forget that after the RAT attacked the snake LC let the rat go outside as well.

I hope every new snake keeper that sees this pick doesnt think...WOW my snake can really eat something that big and alive!! COOL!!!

LC took a heck of a lot of crap for this at another reptile site, and he should have after having been told NUMEROUS times about it, but I guess here its all good.

Quick to jump.......you bet.

Anyways LC, lately you have shown a lot of improvement with the care of your BCI, but just like you were told on the other site, dont spoil it by making dumb decisions after already being told about them. Be persistant with the husbandry pointers you have been getting (they have all been great) and avoid the "cool" pitfalls.
Just think about what happened to your snake.....do you really want a newbie to make the same mistake because you thought it looked cool??

walls you are ignorant,im sorry but i tried to get along, but u insist,on trying to start flame wars,by bringing up the past. What does me on another reptile site have to do with now,on this site ,nothing.Your just a ignorant person, that likes seeing fights started. This thread was going great but u had to come and ruin it,i hope karma comes back on you.I really do.

READ THE LAST SENTENCE OF THE LAST PARAGRAPH IN MY POST!!!!!!

I have been warned over this before so I will now use the ignore function. I guess my "ignorance" got in the way of my actions, after all WTF should I care if some new keeper buys a rat that is way too large for their snake now and has their pet injured........ because its cool to do it here.

I just think it's time to ease up on LC........I think we can all remember his past experiences with herps on this board, and lets just say I think he's grown from that a lot.........So he had his snake get bit, like we all haven't had that happen before! (BTW I dunno if you are looking at different pics or what walls but that doesn't look like any rat to me).........I just don't think we just tear apart his whole thread criticizing him because of one little mistake........

wow, lol.this thread got me all nervouse reading it.hope you guys can work things out.Lc just remember ppl came up with all these rules from all the years of trial and error they went through.Their are some ppl out their that realy dont apreciate what it is to keep and animal like this so far from its natural habitat. It realy is a special thing that we just dont want to see go wrong for the snake or you.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, sounds like your getting that and hope things work out, just think someone out their loves the mouse as much as you love the snake, lol.Pk is a good way.Sounds like you do that now. Some ppl out their see this stuff and dont care about the snake but just want to see some action,so they buy one and keep it in a crap tank with no heat just to watch it eat. This makes us all sad i know,so we just dont want to send out bad signals.I like the branch in your tank,i need to upgrade mine to something he can climb on.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Walls, lol,i know where your coming from but its better for these guys to stick around then to say f you all and bail, then they cant even ask when something goes wrong.I know your pain here bud i realy do but we just have to make sure they get at least most of it right.I just dont want to see them ran off no matter how bad things get.At least some of the blabber mouth know it alls have dissapeared, not saying names, lol. The name calling should maybe go to pm,lol.Good luck guys.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Lc you just got to trust us,its like wanting some one to trust you with something you have been doing for years, its just hard to be nice when you just want them to trust you.Walls wont stir you wrong,he realy cares for herps,he just getts a wee bit bitey a wee bit fast.Down walls, down boy, good boy...........lol:naughty::grinno:
