Where we keep our boat in FL, in certain times of the year, its idle speed only until your about a mile out in the gulf. It sucks when you have to go over12 mi to get from the yacht club to the gulf at idle speed only!

The operators I spoke to said We have to stick our fingers in their rectums to calm them down. I dont understand how thats going to calm them down. I asked the men if that would calm them down. Its disgusting, Mr. Dexter said.

Boat propellers are dangerous things. I lost my 13 year old son this last July to a boat propeller on a 21 ft maxum boat. Did you all know there are prop guards that are reasonably priced that will save both poeple and animals from this horrible fate. Nobody buys them because they slow initial take off slightly. Sorry I will get off my soap box now I just hate to see one more thing hurt by these destructive propellers.
along the same lines, a life guard down here was swimming out to save someone in the ocean on the 4th this year and a drunk boater hit him and killed him in much the same way.
