:screwy:

i had to pull a boat out once. these guys bought a used boat and planned to take some girls skiing. found out it didn't float. their jeep wasn't strong enough to pull a 25' fish/ski out full of water.

long time ago my dad was hand cranking the boat onto the trailer.
then somehow it slipped out of his hand and spun in reverse.
it was going fast from the boat going back in the water.
he was bent down while cranking.
so the handle hit him in the face.
"long time ago.dont remember exactly.lol"
broke his glasses and hurt like heck i bet.
:WHOA: :grinno:

In my 20 plus years of trailering boats, I have seen it all, cars & trucks in water, boats dropped on ground, because someone forgot to lock winch. People falling off dock and boats. Beginners trying to back a trailer. There is a group of oldtimers that come to ramp to watch priceless comedy show!

Haha, there are tons of older folks around that watch people around boat ramps here, some crazy stuff happens there.

was fishing a tourney and saw some guys ball mount fall off, must have sucked

That's nothing. I sunk my boat twice and my fish house once.
