Awesome what is that some kind of catfish ?

Jelly catfish. One of the 3 Cephalosilurus species. IMO, likely apurensis. Underrated/underappreciated by most but invariably loved by those who's had it.

I would say he was around six or seven inches when i got him, but mostly length/not a lot of girth. The last time I measured him begging against the glass he was over 13 inches and very chubby even without a full belly. He can easily eat a thick seven inch smelt no prob. I stuff them with massivore. He also likes chunks of pompano, night crawlers, tilapia, and whole prawns. He hasn't had feeders in quite a while. Surprisingly he is very gentle with his tank-mates and for the most part completely ignores them now.

If you look at some of my other posts you will see some of his tank mates. Most are pretty chunky however with what ive seen him eat he could def tackle some big prey items. He has a pike cichlid with him that is very swallow-able who he just disregards.
