$50 isn't bad along as its from quality stock, since you live in florida I would check out gage at cichlidconnection I am sure he has some and all his are wild or F1's and honestley I don't think I seen a fish that came from him that I wouldn't want in my tank .

Ok. I thought it might be a good deal but I can't seem to find any of size at all. Guess I'll keep looking. Funny that I live in Fl and have a hard time finding Bocourti and Festae. Jags all day long for $5 but no others. Thanks fir the advice!

I only paid $9.99 each for mine...but they weren't F0's like Buddha's. They turned out to be two males so I traded one back. Supply and demand plays a big part in price and of course quality too.

Mine grew about an inch a month so if yours is 4-5", he'll be 12" plus in less than a year. Actually mine slowed down quite a bit about 11".

Buddha your L95 kicks as*... um I mean butt.

Well, for what its worth, I paid $20 for a 4"-5" one from Ira.

Well, it looks like the Bocourti they have is a little bigger than I was looking for but they do have festae. Getting on another plane so hopefully they have some good news for me when I land. Could he a very good day!!!

Now I gotta figure out where to put everybody till the new tank arrives. Decisions decisions.

Cichlid connection has alot of cool cichlids available.

Exactly,some say i paid to much ,but i think it was worth every dime(i would sell or trade all my other fish except my bocourti pair and my orange cheek pleco(dont even ask what i paid for the pleco)and they just happened to be in the same tank

BEAUTIFUL Orange Cheek - I would imagine upwards of $150 for that guy. Plecs are hard to find these days.

A wild pair has been on my want list for some time. Just have other things right now. But I have always wondered why these weren't more popular? For such a beautiful fish, you don't see them often.

I searched almost 2 years before i found mine(also came from Ira)so i jumped on the chance for a wild pair. When it's something i really want i usually get it no matter what(sometimes that a good thing sometimes bad,espaecially when the wife finds out how much i spent)my l95 i bought on impulse(turns out i didnt realize they were kinda rare in the hobby)
My bocourti are my favorite,seems they are showing up in the hobby alittle more often now then when i was first looking for them.

That's the way I look at it. Hell, I've spent more than that on some very unmemorable meals with the wife( at least the food was) lol. At least this would something that I'll enjoy for many years.

Been traveling all day but looks like I might have a lead on both a festae and Bocourti. I really want both. Hopefully I'll find out soon. Hopefully they'll be half as nice as yours. Stunning to say the least. Are they pretty personable fish?
