:) thats cool. Someone told me once that they were difficult to breed together...but the female could and would breed with other males. I have no personal experience with them but looked into it myself not too long ago and this is one of the things i was told....amongst a few other things. I hope u can breed them. That would be awesome...maybe get your picture in a magazine:) haha gl!

I personally think you have better chances at winning the lottery then just flying in under the radar and snagging a M/F pair of some of the rarest species of rays in the world and breeding them.

I'm just curious why you think you can get them when everyone else here (some with outstanding connections) have failed.

Would love to be proved wrong though.
 
im not saying i have a surefire way to get them im just saying if i do i will try to breed them and get them established in the us and once they are established the whole world
 
and instead of asking an exporter to get you one try offering a price first for example, say 8000-10,000 USD
 
Why throw out a price like that when he would possibly except 1-2K. First rule when dealing with prices, never throw out your top offer. Let the seller throw out the number first.
 
i know but your not including shipping and its pretty darn expensive to go to suriname so its not a top priority to the exporters and you could work out a deal for a DOA or quarantine

sorry i didnt mean 8000- 10,000 i realized that thats way to expensive and its more like 3 to 6 tops or maybe lower sry about that but i dint have any exact price tag recomendations
