This has got to be the most bad *** thing I have ever heard on my entire life... Well played sir, well played!

Haha thanks man!

If you haven't already you should do a thread on the collection trip. Please!

There is a thread on my first collecting trip in 2013 somewhere on this forum.

I remember seeing this video last year-https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q4KHq_QdRVQ

Nice seeing an update.:)

This is the video of my first trip indeed. Have some raw material of the latest trip but still have to edit into a nice video.

Awesome! I believe there is a thread on his adventure already..

any pups yet?

No pups uptil now but I will keep you guys posted

That's the advantage of catching your own, pick out the nicest ones. They are a very good looking group, the F1 pups as with all captive bred ones will be even nicer.

All the best regarding breeding them.

Thanks for the compliment, very much apreciated from you.

Hi everybody, here is a little video of my Boesemani breeding group. I have 2 females and 1 male in this tank. Tell me what you think!

Gorgeous !!!!I used to think being Rare was more important then the Beauty of a fish ...I have since seen the light !!!!! I hope this hobby progresses into a hobby like Dogs for example It remains to be seen thooo.......

I would say these are extremely rare. Great collection. Well done. Good luck with the breeding program.

Rare? yes, at this point.
Beautiful? in the eye of the beholder, personally I would take a BD over these guys any day, though I can appreciate why people like them.
Worth the money? depends who you ask, if you like the fish that much it is worth the money, to some a fish will never be worth that amount even if it was made of gold.
Future in aquaria? no one knows, all speculation, and if you had a PHD in economics you probably wouldn't be trying to persuade people's opinions on an internet forum.

Just enjoy people, and compliment a fellow hobbyist in his passion for keeping these things.

Well that escalated quickly...

Anyways, Boesemani is out there and they are being sold by me and a bunch of other vendors. Most of them go to crazy breeding projects in Asia though. Boesemani is still rare and not readily available, like a dime in a dozen Leopoldi (which is still a beautiful species). As for the Snow Leopards, people who have the contacts can get wild caught as well.

To everybody who is nice about the Boesemani: Thank you. I will try to update every once in a while.

Ok- thread is cleaned up.. warnings issued... this is not the place to argue passed dealings and how rare something is... I wish I had them... good luck and keep us updated..

Was this referencing the thread that you two got into it about a pearl that had to be deleted last year?

Thanks for the thread link man, I'd never have found it.

Great read! What an expedition!

I think C cheon nailed it with this quote-
