built a 8' x 2' bog filter for some margin plants and to help filtration. My sand and gravel was in a 45 gallon tub. Was going to build a 55 gal. one this summer. Watere was crystall clear till a family of racoons knocked it over. It seems hard to believe that 2 days and the water is crappy.
