Heres a couple of bad pix cos hes down the other end of the 6' and thats obstructed by a cupboard and another tank and it makes it difficult to photograph. He seems happy and behaving so far and spends a lot of time with my Pim ornatus.

As i usally do when i get a new more predatory/oddball fish i spend the 1st few days worrying if i'll get them feeding/are they happy etc... and he didnt eat much yesterdat but today completly wolfing down bloodworm and frozen food lol. Getting this guys has reminded me how fun they are and never had one of this size either :) I'd just love to get some half decent pix of him though.

One of the nicest freshwater fish in the world. Wish they stayed small! Like most things, puppies, kittens etc...

Yeah, they're cute, but it's something awesome to see an adult happily swimming around looking like a smiling innocent beast... until it yawns. :WHOA:

Just a little advice.... An RTC will try to eat anything it can fit in its mouth, including the rocks you have as substrate. Keep an eye on him, if he starts eating the pebbles get them out before it causes him to puke or even worse!

Thanx guys! Hes currently in a 6x2x2 then when hes a tad bigger he'll go into another 6x2x2 then the 6x4x2 at around 12" and then when he outgrows that we will have our 14x8x4' trop pond finished at work :)
