Boiling driftwood

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I soaked boiled and soaked mine again because I did not do it right the first time. After I boiled it, I then changed the water and boiled it again. Then I soaked it for a little over a week. It sounds like over kill but there's no substitute for good water clarity. Although the natural look does look good too all depends on how you want your tank to look. Good luck.

Ive decided not to do anything. Im doing research on blackwater tanks and although nobody will find it attractive im doing it anyways. I just need to find some fish and plants suited for it. Im thinking of doing maybe 10 cardinal tetras and crypts as plants but i need pleco suggestions. Help me out guys. Id also like to do something thats not super rare or super expensive. Thanks.
