Hey my last excuse was "I don't have any sort of room for it, but it's a GREAT deal!". It was a 70-90 gallon (seller wasn't sure) brand-new-in-packing Marineland bowfront corner tank, stored out of sunlight, which I've been told is now discontinued. For $125.

Alas, it was sold VERY quickly...

If it was a 72, they do still make those. But I have never personally come across any larger sized bowfronts. I think once you reach a certain size range, the bowfront style becomes too weak in the front without using some pretty thick glass, which probably isn't very cost effective.

It sucks that you couldn't get it. I too have come across some amazing deals. I once saw a guy selling his entire 125g setup for $200. I called about 15 times in 3 minutes before he picked up and said it was sold. :(

My current excuse to the girlfriend for more tanks is that I plan to breed Bolivian rams and geo red heads (I have six of each right now, but the geos are still too small and the Bolivians have only been in the tank for 4 days, so no pairing yet), so I need two of the 40 gallon breeders to raise fry in. :)
