Bolivian Rams...

The male is almost 3.5", not including the tail of course, and the female just under 3".

Never heard of Rams that big!

Most places say 3" max, but can get slightly bigger. My male is just a hair under 3.5", not including the tail.He's full grown, and won't get any bigger. Almost 3 years old.

bolivian rams are much hardier than german rams as well as being bigger. Mine breed in 8.6 pH and the female gets gorgeous right before she lays the eggs, but the male is beautiful all year round.

stunning looking rams, i have a male and 2 females in a tank of their own, they have spawned for the 3rd time today but have eaten their eggs every time up to now (so far todays spawn is still there)
