There is an aquarium strain of estherae (the ones you describe) that teh males are orange too. The blues could be different species but I am pretty sure they won't care when it comes time to spawn :naughty:

its not the breeding im thinking of, I dont want loads of just one colour .lol...

the blue ones I had was marked-up as Metriaclima callainos :irked:

The Xanthic Jag went to "MBUNAFISHKEEPER" way befor Xmas, if I have got my dates right he came and got the Xanthic Jag 25th - 9th - 2007.

They look like M.callainos to me ..like mine ..

They are doing good, feeding like hungry Oscars, they move and eat so much .lol...

going to come out you way soon'ish, going to have a look in Bosc see what the have.

also got some new Mbuna, went to Maidenhead looking for some Malawi Dolphins but they had none, came away with a few of these guys.
