I am just guessing here but I say add the hardner. It might be like fiberglass resin and not set up 100% without the hardner.

Excactly.The hardener is the catalyst that cures the filler...more hardener, faster cure and vice versa.

Thanks for the replies all. I was just being a Bondo Newbe. I used the Standard auto body filler. It worked great when I figured out how much I was able to mix and use. I did all seams and filled all holes/Blemishes in the wood. Used a gloved finger to get it into all the seams nice and smooth. Just added the 4th coat of epoxy a few hours ago, and am getting ready to go out and add the final coat.
