Bonsai Faders

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good luck!!
Thanks, for some reason I have a feeling one of them isn't fertile. It's been almost 24 hours. 500 or so eggs. A few are already white.

Looks like a great pair. Keep us posted on this, I'd love to see how it all turns out.
I'm doubtful on this spawn. I'll keep them together and hopefully the next spawn will be a winner.

If it turns out bad. How long should I keep her with him? Maybe 3 or 4 spawns?

I would say 5 and no more then that. It took my original pair 4 times to get it right. It was mainly my males fault as he didn't fertilize them the first 3 times. But the only reason I say 5 and no more is just because you don't want to potentially lose any of the fish due to over excursion. That's how I lost my breeding pair of angels a few years back.

It's been roughly 30 or so hours since I noticed the eggs only 3 to 4 have turned white.. Hes been doing what hes supposed to and spray. Well it looks like hes spraying..

But the parrot eggs are white. I'm used to eggs with a brownish translucent hue. These are clear. Upon researching BP eggs, most I've seen are white not brown.

So I'm really hoping to come home tonight to see some eyeballs. Crossing fingers and legs.. lol

Yeah hopefully the parents separate any bad eggs from the clutch. I know my Angels when they had eggs they would start out white but over the course of a day or 2 would change to be a brownish Amber color. Lol I just wish the father didn't eat all the fry everytime. This time I'm doing things differently and housing breeding pairs in their own tanks instead of the community tank.

We have eyeballs! 6 white eggs out of almost 500. I didn't think my little guy had it in him!
