Bonsai tree

Anyone have one? These look really cool online but wondering how they hold up under water. They are really expensive but would look awesome with some moss growing on them.

Bonsai trees probably won't live very long under water,unless you are referring to some sort of aquatic plant

You'd probably be better off finding a small twig and decorating it rather than drowning and killing an actual bonsai.

Yeah I wasn't sure. On Amazon they have them listed as driftwood and reviews. Didn' think they'd hold up under water for to long.

I think that what you’re going to want to do is get one of the driftwood aquarium ornaments and then decorate it with an aquatic moss to make it look like a bonsai tree.

They are NOT real trees... They are specially carved pieces of wood that you then put moss on... I have looked into it and if you want a good size wood get ready to spend over $100 plus the moss which is not to much $

May I suggest manzanita woodSome have nice twists & turns and some with many prickly branches...you can cut to size. Some of my manzanita applications below:

Look at some of the aquascape competitions online. All sorts of crazy effects , lots of home made underwater bonsai trees as well as other ideas. Might give you some inspiration and ideas of how to put it all together.
