Thanks everyone. It's a bit scary seeing all of those pictures. Makes me realize that that is only a fraction of what I have and all of the ones I have pictured I have several more of. I have to many freaking fish:nilly:.

Nice fish JD - where did you get your EBJDs? Do you breed them too? I didnt know you were an Arowana type fish keeper either.

Your probably right, I think I need some more:).

Those came from tampafishman out of florida. He is a really we respected breeder. I bought 10 and grew them out a little. I found that most turn the powder blue and get the different looking fins and shapes(like most of what you see in stores). A very few look more like regular JD's and have a lot more black(I believe these are pretty much all of the adults that you see). I kept the 3 that looked like regular jacks as I believe it is the other ones that end up with all the deformities and issues. I sold the other 6 (lost one) and kept those 3 and they are going to be nice ones. They should be big enough to breed in a few months. They are only about 16 months old.

That is my black arowana. One of if not my favorite fish. Such interesting behavor and such an impressive fish. It's also my wifes favorite fish strangely enough. He is about 24" now. I got him at 11" about 10 months ago. People that claim black aro's grow slower and full of it!!!

It is just and aquarium bred one. I got a pair of those at an auction with no generation or collection. I assume they are what is called denali or daneli (spelling) but there is no real way to prove that.

cool. thanks.

man that's a lot of fish!!

I might need another psittacus to stir things up...can you tell which is which?

Yep, 3 female and 1 male. The smallest female would be your best bet. It also has the most red

everything looks great but I love the cryptos especially.

THanks they are some of my favorites as well. I have a million of the things.

Great stock, wowwww!!!!

amazing stock man! looking great

Thanks
