That looks like to small of a space for them to spawn. Mine always spawned on a rock in the open and the male would swim all over the tank, so I would be suprised if the spawned in such a small area.

Well he tried the open rock area before with no success. To many moba fry in there with electric blue Haps. aka E.B. Alhi. The female JDempsey wants him too but he chases her away. He spawned with one his females last week but she must have ate the eggs cause she's eating pelets again.

Started? I'd say about 2.5 - 3 inches. She didn't hold all the way until 4 inches. When I say 4 inches, I'm talking about taking the measuring tape and knowing for sure she is a full 4 inches. The male I picked up as an adult. He was about 5-6 inches when I got him. The females I raised from fry. With the 3 fry I kept from my adults, I think I have 2 males and 1 female.
