Yes, freshwater. They live in a river not far from my hometown, in ventral Java Indonesia. But I dunno this valid name. We call them fw tiger eel.

Hmm Borneo python eels I wanted one of these a few months ago but my country isn't a fishkeeping place =]]Excpect to pay Atleast £50 ($80) For a small one but Anywhere up to £200 ($300) For a bigger one.They are quite agressive like most eels and should be ok with bigger fish.60 Gallons would be about min tank size for one.

So which one is the real Borneo Python Eel?

Is it that "Moray" or the one on the link provided by Stump?

There is another eel i've seen going around as "Borneo Python Eel", which actually looks like a python. Someone on here has one... No names are coming to mind though. I'll see if I can find it.

I believe that picture is of a Leopard Moray... I'm not certain though.


edit: nevermind, I am thinking of a SA Anaconda Eel... The Borneo Python Eel is indeed the one in the link I provided.
