Thing is an anti gov would typically target a gov buildibg not a race. This discredits most antigov groups. White supremists would target non white filled areas. My original guess was domestic, and I still think its possible but I wont discount other groups. I also hate how everyone seems to jump straight into it must be a right wing group. Shows alot about some people....

Funny, someone on the radio says it could have been N.Korea. Supposely they were claiming to target Austin...maybe we mis-heard them?

It is pointless to be guessing about who it was. It could be anyone, both domestic or international. Or could it just be one psychotic guy. Lots of people are already jumping the gun and blaming Muslims. Even if it turns out it was Al-Qaeda or some other Muslim terrorist group, I don't think people should go around hating all of them. What I hate more than anything is when people condemn and hate a whole group for the actions of a few.
As opposed to those who jump straight into it must Middle Eastern based ?? Lets be honest here, when the bombs go off, a majority of our population goes straight to the Islamic terrorist/Al Queada/Taliban card. I do recall someone a few posts back refer to pressure cooker bombs being a ''favorite of pakastani taliban''. That wouldn't be vaguely hinting at pointing a finger now, would it ??

my initial reaction is that it is a splinter(local)al quada group... if it isnt that My guess is that its a nutbag hoping to put blame on foreign terrorists. Korea popped into my head also....hmmm
the biggest reason for choosing this event was the amount of media that would be on scene to broadcast it all, no matter who set the bombs.
