U guys, FLAGTAILS are the best clean up crew 24/7!!!

Not only are they on the bottom, they are all over the place in the tank cleaning

I disagree 100%. I've had and have small and large loaches and I have catfish. No comparison. It also depends on the specific type of catfish. I have a vulture cat and a giraffe nose and there is Never one single piece of food left on the bottom.

Aren't loaches a type of catfish? I use clown loaches. They are good cleaners

Personally I like a school of loaches. They are fun and interactive with each other that almost no solitary catfish can match. But they do need care and target feeding as well.

My vote is for a school of clowns if the op is willing to do some work, otherwise a solitary cat as some others have suggested.

Don't get me wrong, I love Clowns. They are fun to watch and they do a good job cleaning up. I'm only speaking from experience. I have 5-4-5" Cl's in my 55 and I have one 18" giraffe cat( going in the 300 today) and a 10" vulture in my 125 and there is more uneaten food and crumbs in the 125 and absolutely nothing left in the 125.

Hmm... That's quite interesting... Maybe I'll try toget a giraffe too. My 3 loaches do a good job but I think 1 more wouldn't hurt
