Hello i have 4 juvenile GT's in my 75g tank, i plan on taking 2 of them back to my LFS because i think i've got it a little overstocked, my question in what kind of bottom feeding/cleanup fish would fit well with my terrors, i would like to avoid getting a regular pleco because they get huge, i'd rather have 2 smaller ones than 1 big one.

Cheers

I have 2 GT's in my 75. I have 7 loaches, snowball pleco and a blue crayfish in my tank as scavengers. Seems to be working so far. I agree that a common pleco is a waste of space.

BTW: That GT in your avatar already has amazing colors! Make sure you keep that guy. :)

thanks, thats the buggest one right now, i think i have 2 males and 2 females, so i am going for a pair, but i was looking at them and maybe i have 3 males anyway, that should do nicely. i used to have little lobsters back in the old days, they loved to crawl out, does the blue crayfish, like to escape, they're masters of escaping in my experience. any other general advice on Green terrors would be appreciated too.

Cheers

plecos are a waste of space. they get lazy and end up eating pelets instead of algea. i have one pleco, chinese algea eaters, loaches, apple snails, and a crayfish. the bottem of my tank is always spotless. i would try a farlowela(spelling?) i had one once it was eatin by my crayfish but all it would eat was algea. it was great. you could also try some snails they work well. good luck!

i once had a farowella to go with my discus, i don't know if it was sick or what but it lasted like 2 days and i came home from work and it was dead. it wasn't very much more active when it was alive...
i have never kept catfish before, how big will a pictus cat or a shovelnose get?, would a bristlenose pl*co or a clown pleco be appropriate? thanks in advance for all the advice.
Cheers
