I currently have a planted 10 gallon with shrimp and guppies for some color. I have a small outbreak of snails and was wondering what is a plant and shrimp friendly bottom dwelling fish that will not outgrow a 10 but control my snail population?

Any suggestions?

What kind of snail is it? The best preventative for this size tank is controlling the feedings.

I'm really not sure what kind of snails they are. Im guessing i got some hitch hiker eggs and now I have about 15 small black snails.

Clown Loach.

Can you get a picture of them?? That will help a lot. The best way is still controlling how much food is in the tank.

Clown loaches get far too big for a 10g tank.

Clown loaches are also not shrimp friendly :D
