What are some suggestions for bottom dwelling tank mates for my new 75 gal (not 55! my parents told me the tank they got me for xmas was 55 but I checked the box and it said 75 :D I figured it looked into big for a 55 lol) Silver Aro tank. I was thinking maybe a wolf fish, what do you guys think?

I think 75 is way too small for an Silver Aro and you should seriously find your fish a better home, or if you did not buy it yet.. dont.
Go with a breeding pair of some Cichlids, or an African Cichlid community.

If youre going to use it as a grow out tank thats cool, but it wont be big enough for long. Pretty much anything that wont be too agressive to the aro, that also wont fit in its mouth should be ok. Wolf fish just look like decorations. They never move. lol

I know its an old standard, but I would go with the usual suspects; polypterus. Theres a reason people keep these fish together successfully :)

I would suggest buying 3 - 5 of the biggest clown loaches that you can find. They are hardy, cheap and really cool to watch.

Just my 2c ... hope it helps!

Agree. Clown loaches are great. And I also agree that this tank is way too small for long run. For growout tho it's perfect :)

your tank is small, its ok for grow out tank but eventually yun need to change it, arowanas growth rate is 1-2 inch per month so if its 6 inches now after a year it would be 18 inches, better get a 5x2x2 or 6x2x2 (feet) tank, the bigger the better, for tankmates, bichir would be nice, clown loaches are fun to watch especially if they shoal together
