i will be relocating my 10-12 inch oscars (2) INTO A 75G BY NEXT WEEK, I WILL BE USING POOL FILTER SAND, AND WANNTED TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANYTHING I COULD ADD AS IN A BOTTOM FEEDER TO HELP WITH THE TANK CLEANUP, THESE 2 OSCAR ROUGH HOUSE WITH EACH OTHER AND I DO NOT WANT TO ADD ANY FISH THAT WILL BECOME DINNER OR A CHEW TOY, AND I HAVE BEEN READING THAT PLECOS ARE POOP FACTORIES, ANY SUGGESTIONS?

what would be a small school and will these fish be able to survive with the oscars, remembering its only a 75g and are they good at cleaning up the sand?

i read that clown loaches do not do very well with larger tank mates, any other suggestions?

75 gallon

A tankmate that might work is plecos, but the bioload is huge already, and I wouldn't add any

Whats your filteration?

i havent set the tank up yet, still waiting for the center brace to come in, but i have 2 ac 110's and a fluval 304, the ac's have been running for months now on the 55 wit the two oscars, i just set the 304 up last night on a different established tank that i have, so i have options for the filtration, 2 ac's and the 304 or 1 ac and the 304 etc, i wanted to get something to help with the bottom since i will be using sand but dont want to overload the tank since it is only a 75, i have a pleco in the other tank, not with the oscars, but am afraid they will beat him up if i put him in there, he is about 5-6 inches, and i really dont want to add a poop machine to the tank.

if you don't want to add more poo to the tank, then i suggest that you don't get any more fish, OR you can go bare bottom. I think that cat fishes would be better, cause, they'll eat all the left over food the "O's" don't eat. and they have heavier bodies to move sand. IMO

do you know if the oscars will coexist with the catfish, and can i get a baby catfish or would it already have to hve a good size so the oscars wont mess with him, is there a specific type of catfish that would be better?
