Bottom Feeder for established oscars

I'd get a good sized catfish that can take some of the possible damage, what kind of catfish are you leaning towards

Synodontis eupterus but get a well-grown one. You could have a couple raphael cats as they're armored cats. You could even do a few large pictus cats but again you'd have to get them well-grown...I've kept 4-lines with big oscars with success but the spotted ones don't get as big.

Could also try a bichir.
