Great shots!! That guy looks like a bloody good xback!

most of the time I hear about drop eyes is because the fish look down to the bottom too often, but it doesn't mean eating at the bottom will make eye drop. In Asia, many experienced Aro keepers believe the if you still feeding the fish with floating foods, the fish will be OK, or keep something on top of the tank that make the fish look up (especially stuff with red color) can help prevent drop eyes.

My god thay are iawsome pics mate, what a beauty that aro is:drool:.

I was messing around last night and had another barmy idea....like i do, as my silver loves prawns so much i tryed to work out a way to get the prawn to stay on or very near the surface.

What i did was go fishing fishing for him...with out a hook though LOL. I just threaded a prawn on a length of fishing line right to the end so lione is showing and put it in the tank and let it float to the end of the water flow so it styaed up in the water......hey it worked, a bit of messing about but it did the trick, another good bit is that he is a bit shy of pellets so i stuffed the prawns with a few.

Mite try it with crickets as they folt to the outher end of the tank where he doesnt venture much now and the outlet takes them away also.

wayne:)
