^^ Sell it, give it for free...as long as you dont try to keep him in your tank.... and stunt the growth.

But honestly, when you raise a fish from that size...lol i doubt you would wanna give him away :P aro is like one of my dream fish...beautiful

i know its gunna suck. i've always wanted an aro but i never wanted to pay the price. i found some cheap babies and i love it. i had a spotted gar once that would hand feed. he was the coolest. when i stick the worms in the water, the aro swims by them but he gets scared. once he gets used to me, i bet he will hand feed.

Well if this is the case that you are just keeping him till he out grows your tank then you let me know... I live in Cincinnati so im a few hours away form you... I'll gladly take him and give him the home that he deserves...

What if you get attached? Fish are no easier to give up than any other pet, they grow on you and aros are really special fish.

i feel the same, i don't understand "temporary pets". i tried selling and trading some of my fish, but i discovered that i always regret it when i do.

i have a baby arowana as well mine likes freeze dried krill, i just break off tiny pieces of that and toss it in the tank. he loves live brine shrimp he will eat them after he stops eating the krill. do lots of water changes and good luck, i hope this helps.
