Bought a pool for a tank

I am setting up this pool as a tank for some catfish and tilapia.
I got it for $99 with free shipping.
It will hold about 1,000 gallons. It measures 9.8' x 6.7' x 26"
I have been wanting to do this for a long time.
I will try to post pictures.
I will add floating plants to it also to help remove nitrates.
Just a fun experiment.

There great with the addition of a 45mil epdm liner ??. Dont last too long without the extra liner tho IME

I hope it last long enough for the purpose.
I have 50 albino channel cats and 15 spotted bullhead catfish coming in.
I want to grow them out a little before I release them into my pond.
If I don't I may lost most of them to bass. I would lose the albino cats for sure.
I do want a couple inside in tanks also.

I’ve seen a few complaints about catfish puncturing these pools.
Probably won’t be an issue with little guys.

Setting it up behind my shop outside under one of those cheap Harbor Freight poly tarp carports.
I will try to grow aquatic plants like hornwort and floating plants like water lettuce, red root floaters, etc.
The wife saw the pool delivered and was excited, until I told her it was for fish.
Not very happy with me about it at all right now...

I finally got around to setting it up. The walls are triple layered. I willa day for chlorine to dissipate instead of using up my chemicals.
